Accessory Clips and Racks can be mounted onto an accessory perforated shelf which fits onto reciprocating stainless steel trolley. Flasks, micro titre plates and test-tube racks can easily be loaded and unloaded, lifting out the complete shelf. The trolley can also easily be removed for cleaning.

Shaking system is quiet in use and by removing the trolley it can be used as a standard laboratory bath.

The shaker trolley is highly stable in use, with a removable perforated shelf, unlike many traditional shaker baths where the whole shaker carriage has to be removed for loading and unloading. Clifton Shaker baths just require the perforated shelf, accessory clips and any installed glassware or consumables, to be removed making it lighter and easier to handle.

Uniquely Clifton Shaker baths features a useful stainless steel recessed tray for standing flasks on prior to and after immersion.

Comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish, hygienic coating which actively inhibits bacterial growth, with good chemical resistance.

Heaters are concealed under the tank providing a clutter free working area easy to wipe clean. The heating footprint covers underside base of the tank, its low mass provides rapid energy transfer; quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption with improved temperature uniformity.

Temperature controls feature bold LED display of measured temperatures in real-time, increments of ±0.1°C, using precision PID temperature control. Settings retained even after turning the unit off.

Easy to use splash proof controls, touch keypads for setting temperature values with indicators for heating and over temperature alarm.

Every unit undergoes a factory temperature calibration for validation.

Shaking control, analogue dial pointer, graduated in 100rpm divisions from 0 to 400rpm. Stroke length variable up to 40mm.

Thermal cut out fitted in the heater. Bath fitted with non-slip rubber feet.

The under/over temperature alarm is automatically set 4˚C above and 4˚C below set temperature. When in alarm condition the indicator illuminates and actual bath temperature is shown, if bath is over temperature heating is switched off. Once liquid temperature has fallen or risen above/below the alarm setting the indicator clears and actual bath temperature is shown, control resumes.

Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a Lid or layer of polypropylene spheres - see accessories.

Covering the bath with a lid reduces energy consumption and running costs.
