Clifton® Block heaters provide a safe, dry and consistent method of heating accessory aluminium blocks with excellent thermal conductivity for heating tubes.

Supplied with block extraction tool.

• Any two blocks can be fitted in the heating well for 0.2ml, 0.5ml, 1.5ml and 2.0ml tubes.

• Any one block can be fitted in the heater well for 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 16mm, 19mm, 25mm diameter tubes and 50ml tube sizes.

  In the above image the Blockheater is fitted with accessories: BHL-1 Lid safety cover and two Blocks the DBK-0.2 for 0.2ml micro tubes and DBK-0.5 Bloc for 0.5ml micro tubes.
   

Featuring bold LED display of measured temperatures in real-time, increments of ±0.1°C, using precision PID temperature control. Setting for block temperature only or combination of temperature and time. Timer setting variable in 1-minute increments from 00:01 [hh:mm] to 99:59 [hh:mm] with “end” message on completion-timed period. Settings retained even after turning the unit off.

Easy to use controls, utilising touch keypads for setting time and temperature values with indicators for heating, over temperature alarm and timer.

The Blockheater can be set to run at a set temperature or commence the timer once the block reaches set temperature.

This paint finish actively inhibits bacterial growth improving hygiene requirements as demanded by many clinical and laboratory environments. Hygienic coatings are part of a controlled approach to cleaner facilities. Anti-bacterial paint finish is effective against major strains of bacterium including E-coli and Staphylococcus aureus, resistant strain. Within its formulation an active ingredient is a proven anti-bacterial agent bound into the coating during application and curing to the product. The efficacy of the paint finish applied to the Clifton range is maintained over time, as the anti-bacterial agent is integral within the paint finish.
