This very compact system is specially designed to separate different natural components, like carbohydrates, alcohols and organic acids. It is optimized for the separation of several hundred mg to gram per day.

System components

The heart of the system is the superior AZURA refractive index detector RID 2.1L HighFlow with an outstanding linear range and sensitivity. The intelligently designed optical unit with advanced temperature control ensures high sensitivity, fast baseline stabilization, and excellent reproducibility. The other systems component is the AZURA Assistent ASM 2.1L. This sugar purification assistent combines the functionality of two different devices, a pump and a valve. The isocratic AZURA Pump P 4.1S can work with flow rates up to 50 ml/min and a maximum pressure of 150 bar. The 12 port multi-position valve AWA20BG for fractionation is made of stainless steel and has a maximum flow rate of 500 ml/min.
